Registered 31st March 1845 at 8 o'clock p.m.on the oath of James Purves, J.P.

Know all men by these presents that I, George F. Langill, of River John, in the County of Pictou, yeomen, have demised and leased unto George Smith Langill of the same place, yeoman, all that lot of land situate on the west side of the highway leading up the west side of the said river, bounded on the east by Hugh Cameron's lot, on the north by George Perin's lot, on the west and south by land belonging to the said George F. Langill containing two acres according to a plan thereof in the possession of the said George F. Langill, with the appurtenances.

To have and to hold the same to the said George Smith Langill for and during the term of the natural life time of the said George F. Langill, yielding and paying therefore yearly and every year during the said term, unto the said George F. Langill, the term of one shilling currency.

Witness my hand and seal, the twenty-ninth day of March A.D., 1845 in the presence of:

I hereby certify that on this 31st day of March A.D., 1845, Daniel Dickson one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Instrument personally appeared before me the subscriber, and made oath that the same was duly executed in his presence, by William Langill, the party thereto.
