Alexander McKenzie vs Christopher Langill

Cause

Christopher Langill, Defendant

Confession by plea Indebitatus Assumptsit between the said Alexander McKenzie and the said Christopher Langill as well for the sum of sixty-three pounds, six shillings and two pence, damages as well as costs of suit. Therefore, it is considered that the said Alexander McKenzie do recover against the said Christopher Langill, his damages aforesaid of sixty-three pounds, six shillings and two pence and also the sum of five pounds and one shilling for his costs of suit amounting in all to sixty-eight pounds, seven shillings and two pence and the said Christopher Langill in mercy.

I, James Skinner, Deputy Notary for Her Majesty's Supreme Court of Judicature for the County of Pictou, in the Province of Nova Scotia, do hereby certify unto all whom it doth or may concern that the foregoing is a true and correct extract and copy of the original Docket of Judgment in the cause of Alexander McKenzie against Christopher Langill entered upon the Docket Book of Judgments of Her Majesty's Supreme Court at Pictou, in the Province aforesaid, Letter B, Page 86, which judgment was duly entered, docketed and signed by the Honourable Brenton Halliburton, the Chief Justice of the said Supreme Court on the twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and forty-three for the sum of sixty-eight pounds, seven shillings and two pence and cost of suit as of the term of June within year last aforesaid.

Given under my hand and seal of the said Supreme Court in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and forty-three.
