  • According to family Bible records recounted by Lonnie Gunnoe on July 31, 2003, George Smailes, 1800-1866, married Elizabeth Shuck, 1806-1880; their son, John Smailes, 1824-1897, married Isabelle Anderson, 1829-1897, all of whom plus one other unidentified are buried here. John Smailes and Elizabeth Anderson had children, Elizabeth (Kate) and George Thomas Smailes, neither of whom are buried here. Elza C. Smailes, buried here, is the son of George Thomas Smailes, 1853-1937, and Mary V. A. Withrow, 1856-1929, also not buried here.
