Portriats from ca. 1910 to 1930

Portrait Photographs that appear to be from the 1910 to 1930 Era

These photographs are of a style that dates from the early 1900s into the 1920s. Several are mounted in brown cardboard frames that were common for that era. Very few of these portraits have any markings.

This portrait is very typcial of the era from the early 1900s through 1920s with the brown carboard frame in which the photograph is mounted. I do not know who the young lady is.

This is another portrait in a brown cardboard frame and the appearance of being made in between ca 1900 and mid 1920s. I suspect that this is a studio posed photo and is likely from the early 1900s.

This is a photograph rather than a studio portrait of a young girl and old woman. The format of this picture is similar to some of the World War I soldier photographs, appearing to be a very narrow format.

This photograph is in the same narrow format as the photograph above. The young woman appears to be holding a small animal.

These two photographs of the young lady were "stamp size" and 1 inch square and where pasted onto a calling card that had the portrait below affixed to it. Because of the resolution of the scan, the image on your screen is larger than the original.

This portrait was a small minature on a business size calling card that also contained the images above paster to it. because of the scanned resolution it will be displayed larger than the image really is. The originial is less than 1" high.
