bullet  Research Notes:

William's age is recorded on the ship's manifest as 42yrs and 6mnths. This would make his birthdate about July 1861. As this is the only possible William Wyld with mother Sabina and brother Albert from Nottingham, it is considered that possibly his age was recorded as 42 1/2, rather than 44 1/2.

The 1901 British Census records William at home with his wife and children. There is no record of them travelling to America in 1904.

It is not known if William returned to England after he had visited his mother and brother.
