Biography* Obituary:
     BELTON - Doris Orabelle Ashley Culpepper, 85, widow of T. Durrell Culpepper, formally of 219 Blair Mill Road, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 at McCormick Health Care.
     Born in Abbeville County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Abner Ashley and Lessie Smith Ashley. She was a member of Belton First Baptist Church and retired with Blair Mills.
     Surviving are brother, J. Paul Bradley Ashley of Honea Path.
     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Abner, R.L., Clifton and Odell Ashley; and sisters, Addie Mullinax, Vera Ashley, Cara Campbell and Mabel Ashley.
     Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Jimmy Smith and Dale Lynch; burial will follow at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. The families are at their respective homes. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Belton First Baptist Church.3

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa, with Dr. Henry Fields officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband, William G. Culpepper; a daughter, Dorothy C. Goodson, Macon; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.9

Biography* Obituary:
     Carnesville. Lina Blanche Ayers Culpepper, 87, of the New Bethel Community died Friday, May 15, 1998. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Culpepper was a daughter of the late Freeman and Amy Frances Thomason Ayers and the widow of Hoke Smith Culpepper. She was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Lina Francis and Sandra Ruth. Mrs. Culpepper was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Childress and David Sosby officiating. Burial will be in the Culpepper family cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. today. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Culpepper and Calvin Culpepper, both of Toccoa, and David Culpepper, Carnesville; a sister, Octie Carnes, Carnesville; a brother, George Ayers, Toccoa; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family welcomes flowers, but those wishing to make memorials may do so to the New Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund. The family is at the residence of David Culpepper, 4145 Highway 198, Carnesville. Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, is in charge of arrangements.4
