Ms Hollis passed away on Friday, December 24, 2004 in Farmerville, LA at age 91. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Hollis and sons J.W. Hollis, Bobby Hollis and Jerry Hollis.

She is survived by sons: David Hollis of Shreveport, LA; Rick Hollis and Pat of Bossier City, LA; Sammy Hollis and wife Cathy of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter Billie Tyalor and husband Malcum of Farmerville, LA; daughter-in-law Marcille Hollis of Benton, LA; sister, Reva Richard of El Dorado, AR; brother, Grady Culpepper of Spearsville, LA; grandchilren Jimmy Reynolds, Pete Reynolds, Linda Vela, Jr. Hollis, Cissy Crouch, Phyllis Vaughan, Mike Hollis, Steve Hollis, Nancy Doener, Ted Hollis, Jay Hollis, Tim Hollis, Richie Hollis, Sammy Hollis, Jr., Tommy Hollis, Jennifer Hollis, and Christi Hollis; 34 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
