Alice was a launderer, could read and write, and was 5' 4", and was Black. She immigrated on the S.S. Aidan on 20 May 1914, coming to join her husband "Edward St. C. Culpepper at 100 W 134th St, New York, NY. She became a naturalized citizen in 1920 and returned to Barbados on a visit for an unknown duration, re-entering Ellis Island on 6 Dec 1923, specifying her residence as 148 W 73rd St, New York, NY.
