     Almedia H. Culpepper, 101, of 619 E. Lake Road, Dryden, N.Y., formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the home of her granddaughter, Judith Laros Hull, with whom she resided. She was the wife of the late Walter S. "Chief" Culpepper. Born in Portsmouth, Va., she was a daughter of the late Samuel B. and Ida V. (Noel) Hutchins. She was the oldest member of College Hill Presbyterian Church, Easton, and received special recognition from the church on her 100th birthday. She was the treasurer, financial secretary and business director of the Easton Woman's Club for many years and a volunteer at the Red Cross, Easton, and Camp Weygadt, Delaware Water Gap. Culpepper was a guest speaker in gerontology classes at Ithaca College and sang with the Intergenerational Choir, Ithaca.5

Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, is handling arrangements.5
