Miss Dean was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Dean. She had made her home with her uncle, Mr. W. T. Dean, and family for the past 35 years. Garrison. The abundance of beautiful flowers were silent symbols of the appreciation of her friends for the fine, noble character she possessed. She is survived by Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Dean and Miss Annie Maude Dean with whom she made her home; two brothers, James Dean of Marshallville, Ga; and Lou Dean of the Shiloh community; and three sister, Mrs. Bob Powell of Lanett, Mrs. Luther Powell of North Alabama and Mrs. Mattie Ward of Ashland, and other relatives.
