Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with the Reverend Michael Carden officiating and interment following in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.      Mrs. Quick was born Nov. 18, 1915 in Cusseta, Ga., daughter of the late William Floyd Culpepper and Mattie Belle Kemp Culpepper. She had retired from the Muscogee County School System and was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.
     Mrs. Quick was preceded in death by her two husbands, Harper Franklin Kemp and Glenn Quick; two sisters, Evelyn Batchelor and Dorothy Davis; two brothers, William A. Culpepper and William F. ÒJr.Ó Culpepper.
     Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Dorothy Kemp of Columbus; a step-son and his wife, Glenn H. and Freida Quick of Savannah, Ga; two step-daughters and their husbands, Mary and Ron Davis of Columbus, Linda and Mike Sawyer of Waverly Hall, Ga; six sisters and their spouses, Peggy Culpepper of Columbus, Jane and Bill Sterling of Cataula, Ga., Gloria and Dan Mastrean of Midland, Ga., Sarah and Cecil Ginn, Ellen and Joe Willis all of Ellerslie, Ga., Patsy and Hugh Miller of Columbus; two brothers and their wives, Gene and Betty Culpepper, Bobby and Barbara Culpepper all of Columbus; grandchildren, Janet White, Debbie Gaza, Donald Ingram, Sherry Ingram, Jimmy Ingram; numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.2

     Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Vance-Brooks Chapel 4048 Macon Rd., Columbus, Ga., with Rev. Bob McDANIEL officiating. burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery according to Vance-Brooks Funeral Home. Visitation will be held this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
     Pallbearers will be Arthur CULPEPPER, Tommy DAVIS, Larry CULPEPPER, Lem MILLEr, Robert CULPEPPER, Phil GINN, Edward CULPEPPER and Randy STERLING.
     Mrs. BATCHELOR was born December 10, 1918 in Chattahoochee County, Georgia, daughter of the late Mattie Bell KEMP and William Floyd CULPEPPER. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ellerslie Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Oliver BATCHELOR, brothers, William Amos CULPEPPER & William Floyd CULPEPPER, Jr. and a sister, Dorothy C. DAVIS.
     Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Oliver "Rob" and JoAnn WELLS BATCHELOR, Jr., and a grandson, Ralph Olive "Robbie" BATCHLOR, III. She was the beloved sister of Mary Ella KEMP QUICK, Peggy Ann CULPEPPER, Sara C. and Cecil GINN, Ellen C. and Joe WILLIS, Patsy C. and Lem MILLER, Jance C. and Bill STERLING, Gloria C. and Dan MASTREAN, Gene and Betty CULPEPPER & Bobby and Barbara CULPEPPER, and nieces and nephews.2
