Biography* The following obituary appeared in what appears to be a Woodson, TX paper on Friday, January 13, 1933 and was reproduced on p. 293 of the Mrs. Nan Overton West book The Wests and The Rays and Allied Lines: LITTLE DONALD RAY DIES IN STAMFORD SAT Donald, sixteen months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ray, died Saturday morning about three o'clock at the Stamford Hospital. The baby was taken to the hispital three weeks before the death, with a severe case of pneumonia. The funeral was held at the Baptist Church of Rule, Texas on Saturday afternoon at three o'clock and interment was made in the Rule cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Richie and Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Elliot attended the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Ray were former residents of Woodson and their many friends extend their deepest sympathy in their bereavement.
