Services for Mary Elliott Cotney, 74, of Wadley will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wadley First United Methodist Church with Revs, Bill Huffman and Belon Friday officiating. Burial will follow at Wadley City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 tonight at Quattlebaum Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cotney died Monday at Randolph County Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Jane Williamson of Piedmont; three sons, Elliott Cotney, Richard Cotney and Stanley Cotney, all of Wadley; a sister, Maudene Floyd of Quincy, FL; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pall-bearers will be Elliott Cotney, Richard Cotney, Stanley Cotney, Larry Williamson, Curt Cotney and Chris Cotney.

Mrs. Cotney was a lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was employed by Pen Rose Corporation and was a member of Wadley First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Cotney.
