Obituary*11 August 2011 Louis Wray Bruce, 74, of San Angelo passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011. He was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Luling, Texas, to Louis and Evelyn Bruce. He graduated high school in Hobbs, N.M., and attended Texas Tech.

He married Barbara White on Sept. 4, 1956, in Tarzan, Texas. He was a salesman for Southwestern Bell in Midland, Odessa and Dallas for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bruce of San Angelo; four children, Kevin Bruce and wife Cathy of San Angelo, Karen Cole and husband Chris of Dripping Springs, Kenneth Bruce and wife Kathy of Murphy's Burrow, Tenn., and Kathryn Bub and husband Scott of The Woodlands; as well as 12 grandchildren; one grandson-in-law; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Taylor Sandlin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank; West Texas Boys Ranch; Meals for the Elderly; or a charity of your choice.2,3
