This is the Last Will and Testament of me, John Spencer Colepeper of the London Road in the County of Surrey, a Lieutenant on the retired full pay of the first Royal Veterans Battalion.
     I direct my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses to be fully paid and satisfied with all convenient speed after my decease.
     I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Bridget Colepeper (Bridget Robinson) all my household goods and furniture and all monies to be received under a policy of assurance offered on my life in the Provident Life Office together with all arrears of pay and all other my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and which I shall be entitled to or interested in at the time of my decease for and for ** own absolute ** ** benefit and disposal.
     And I appoint my said wife Bridget Colepeper sole Executor of this my last will and testament.
     Sir ** ** ** saw John Spencer Colepeper have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and thirty three. (13 Jul 1833)
