Mr. Culpepper was preceded in death by his first wife, Dollie Joe Culpepper; a daughter, Donna Lynn Howell; and a brother, Terrell Simmons. He died Sunday (October 8, 2006). Survivors include his wife, Bessie Lou Culpepper of Dublin; his daughter, Denise Wood of Rentz; his son, Keith (Janie) Culpepper Jr. of Cadwell; his stepchildren, Jimmy (Deborah) Rogers of Dublin, Joette (Robbie) Harvey of Gray and Jean (Terry) Cannon of Dublin; his son-in-law, Freddie Howell of Rentz; his sister, Linda (Carl) Cox of Rentz; his grandchildren, Chasidy (Chris) Johnson, Joseph Wood, Kenneth Wood, Chris (Nichole) Culpepper, Julie (Mark) McDaniel, Jonathan Howell and Brandon Howell; his great-grandchildren, Makayla Johnson, Austin Johnson, Tyler Culpepper, Logan Culpepper and Kole McDaniel. Gary Frost, Harold Graham, Freddie Churchwell, D. M. Mullis, Steve Cox and Billy Wood will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the Culpepper home, 2004 Stonewall Street, and will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.1 |
