     Born December 29, 1913, in Laurel, MS, she was the last surviving daughter of the late Oscar and Sara Strahan. She passed away Friday, December 21, 2007, in West Monroe. A homemaker and long-time member of the Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe.
     She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dallas Culpepper, in April, 1966, and by 4 sisters and 9 brothers.
     Survivors include 2 daughters, Elaine Henry and husband, AC, and Loraine Ray and husband, Travis; 2 sons, Bobby Culpepper and Billy Culpepper and wife, Patricia; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
     Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, December 23, 2007, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Online condolences may be sent to www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.1 
Burial*24 December 2007 Her body was interred on 24 December 2007 at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.1
