Catherine Barfield Watson Hill is believed she is burried in the Hill family burial ground on the road to the Prosperity Church cemetery in southern Taylor County. There are no headstones, only graves marked with rocks.

She will be forever to loved and missed. Survivors include son James C. Culpepper of Boynton Beach; granddaughters: Melissa Ann Chapman and Christina Ann Weaver; and great-grandson Alex Weaver of Charlottesville, Virginia; son, David L. Culpepper; adopted grandson, George B. Culpepper of Aliso Viedo, California; and loving friends: Mr. Bennie Burton and Aidde De La Cruz Ramirez of Florida. Cremation by Royal Palm Funeral Home in West Palm Beach, Florida and interment at Boynton Beach Mausoleum at a future date. (The Palm Beach Post, June 8, 2001.)
