Funeral services for Andrew C. Eaves, Jr., 78, were held on Jan. 21, 2002 at First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Bob Schwanebeck officiating. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born on Jan. 19, 1924 in Winston County, he was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church. He was a retired electrician and owner of Lacy's Gifts & Jewelry. He died on Jan. 19, 2002 at Winston Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Grace B. Eaves; two daughters, Katherine Brooks of Jackson and Elizabeth Culpepper of Clinton; a son, Gary Wayne Eaves of Round Rock, Texas; three sisters, Beryl Luther of Meridian, Velma Lee
Eisenhart of Hattiesburg and Brownie Jackson of Louisville; four brothers, William Reuben Eaves of Bonham, Texas, Roger Eaves of Flower Mound, Texas, Jyles Eaves of Louisville and John Eaves of Jackson; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
