Biography* Obituary:
Scott I. Culpepper, age 62, of Pinson, AL, passed away July 2, 2007. He was born in Foxworth, MS on May 23, 1945. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil B. Culpepper. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sue C. Culpepper of Pinson; his mother, Lola Mae Culpepper of Dallas, TX; his daughters, Christy Culpepper Nelson (Jonathan) and Cindy S. Culpepper; his grandchildren, Jonathan and Sophia Nelson, all of Birmingham; his brothers, Godfrey Culpepper (Judy) and Gilbert Culpepper (Dixie), all of Texas; his sisters, Eunice Coats and Janice Cooper (William), all of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Center Point Baptist Church for over thirty years, where he was active in the children and youth ministry. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He served the Lord through his loving and caring spirit. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Reverend Bobby Earls officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Trussville Chapel Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m.2
