Romaine Harger Brace1

Birth*6 July 1893 He was born on 6 July 1893 at New York.2
Marriage*1918 He married Marian Shafer Culpepper at Pasquotank Co., North Carolina, in 1918. Marian and Romaine had a daughter named Ann, and Romaine disappeared sometime during the first year of marriage. About two years after Ann's birth, Marian marries Harry Flemming.1,2
Biography* Glenda Walker wrote on 31 Dec 2010:
"Born July 6, 1893 New York (some family trees show his birth place as Brooklyn NY but I don't have any documentation for that now). 1900 census he was in Wayne County Michigan with his widowed father Charles D. Brace and grandparents, Curtis and Huldah Brace
"In 1918 he was in Toledo Ohio, working as a male nurse, his WWI draft registration shows this information. He says he was a veteran of the US Army. It also gives proof of his middle name. The Hargers were neighbors of the Braces in Michigan and they had a daughter named Mary who was about 7 years younger than Charles. I have used that information to show Mary as Charles' wife and Romaine's mother. This may or may not be correct but is a good guess."
