Burial will follow in Shawmut Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm CST, Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Fredericks Funeral Home. Ms. Culpepper was born August 10, 1945 and passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008. She was a nurse and was active with the Lee-Chambers Fire Department. Survivors include her daughters Kalyn (Terry) Ray, Kortney Culpepper, grandchildren Nickolas and Brittany Ray, Aunt Valeria Adams, cousins Cynthia Smith, Jo Ann Van and Ruth Weatherly, extended family Bill and Linda Culpepper, Shane and Shannon Culpepper, and a special friend Vickie Ridgeway and many other friends and relatives. He is survived by two daughters, Deanna (Austin) Melvin, Debbie (Dave) Gatti; one sister, Dean (Tom) Sircy; grandchildren, Deena (Ken) Thomas, Greg (Deb) Cash; great-grandchildren, Hollie Thomas, Trent Thomas, Tyler Cash, Jody Cash, Paeton Cash; great-great-granddaughter, Maycie Thomas. Kilgroe Funeral Home is Pell City directed the services.4

Bill Ayres officiating. Interment will be in Seddon Cemetery. Mrs. Culpepper died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Loranza D. Culpepper; two daughters, Deanna Deleen Melvin and Deborah Kay Gatti; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until service time at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Thomas, Trent Thomas, George Cash, Jamie Rector, Dennis Gallups and Earl Phillips. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct.1
