Here is one of Norman with wife Beulah @ 1966.... By the way, Beulah Mae Trexler (Gloria's mom), is living still, in Yadkin near where they had the old country store. Beulah was born in North Carolina, I believe the Raleigh area. Jim and Gloria can walk across the RR tracks and ask her.1

Obituary*16 October 2014 Chesapeake - Beulah Trexler Culpepper, 87, died October 15, 2014. A native of Rowan County, NC, she was the widow of Frank Norman Culpepper. Beulah worked for Chesapeake Public School Food Service. She was a very active member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church and in her community.

Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Nelson (Jim) and Linda Graves; two sons, Kirk Culpepper (Susan) and J.N. Culpepper (Connie); two sisters, Helen Pearce and Hazel Morris; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and extended family. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Priscilla Tie and the entire staff at Sentara Nursing Center- Portsmouth for all their loving care.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, at 11 AM in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Plasters. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel is in charge. Contributions may be made to a local SPCA.
