On the same date Elizabeth Ensigne, widow, complained against Thomas Summers for £500 damage for “inticing and drawing away her daughter unseasonably, and by unlawfull meanes, against her will, and abusing her daughter.” The jury awarded her only 50s. and the cost of the suit (Plymouth Colony Records 7:126).2
