Obituary*28 March 1905 James M. Ford Has Passed Away

Mr. James Monroe Ford Jr., aged about 45 years, died at his residence four miles west of Phenix City at 8 o'clock Saturday night after an illness of seven weeks. Besides his wife, Martha Amanda Culpepper ford, he is survived by six children and his mother, Mrs. Frances A. Ford, who was at his bedside when he died. Two brothers, Mr. A. Ford, of Birmingham and Mr. Charles B. Ford of Opelika. Both of these gentlement attended the funeral Sunday. The deceased was a cousin of Mr. C. H. Herring of Columbus.
The funeral took place from Ladonia Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev. L. W. Mann. The interment was at Ladonia Church cemetery four miles west of the city.
