BATH TOWNSHIP


HENRY F CUPP's parents, Joshua and Catharine, were both born in Virginia. His mother died in 1863. His father still resides in Rockingham County, Virginia, where Henry F. was born, October 15, 1845, and where his wife, also, was born, September 21, 1847. They were married in 1868, and have three children--Nettie L., John W. H. and Joshua F. Mrs. Cupp is Mary C., daughter of John and Sarah Weaver, who came to Allen County from Virginia in the year 1840. Their children are Mary C. (Mrs. Cupp), Hannah E., Sarah V. (Mrs. Henry Irvine), Samantha L., Olive B., Frank, Louisa, Liddie, Melissa and J. William. Mr. Cupp has four brothers--John W., R. F., E. C., L. P. and H. S.

DANIEL STEVICK is a son of Jacob and Sarah Stevick, whose children are John, William, Annie, Joseph, Jacob, Daniel, Eli, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth and George. Daniel was born in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, December 4, 1926. His wife is Margaret, daughter of David and Margaret E. Jrushel, who had nine children--Catharine, Maria, John, Peter, Margaret, David, Elizabeth, Henry and Sarah. She was born in Stark County, Ohio, September 18, 1832. David A., Jacob A. and Jessie L., are the children of Daniel and Margaret Stevick. Mr. S. was one of the Trustees of Bath Township for three years.

REUBEN WHITE and his wife, Ann E. Edgecomb, were both born in Bath Township, Allen County, Ohio. His father, Adam White, came from Brown County; his mother, Rebecca M Walton, from Pickaway County. His wife's parents, Walter and Laura Edgecomb, came from Trumbull County. Mr. W. was born November 7, 1837; his wife August 24, 1842. Their children are Sarah A., Ida E., Kirby, Laura, Albert, Walter E., Oscar E., and John E. Adam and Rebecca White had nine children--Susan, Gilbert, John, Joseph, Deborah A., Lydia, Reuben, Nancy and Jessie. Walter and Laura Edgecomb had ten children--Ann E., James, Lewis A., Lauretta, Sarah E., Mary J., Elsa M., Charles and Lansil.
