Jim and Linda's Impulsive Move!

Lititz, Pennsylvania

Welcome to Jim and Linda's webpage! We went to a wedding in Pennsylvania in May of 2000, found a house we couldn't live without, came home, listed our California Cabin and here we are! That was a little over 2 1/2 years ago and was in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. We sold that house and purchased our second Pennsylvania home in Lititz, in Lancaster County! Ain't it purty??? This home was our Christmas Present in 2002, as we moved in 5 days before Christmas!! Christmas was memorable because it started snowing on Christmas Eve and snowed all day on Christmas. We understand it hadn't snowed on Christmas since the 1960's!

Jim took an early retirement from the local power company after 35 years, and has gone through several phases in the 5+ years since. I've made a webpage for each one of them, but ALAS! we don't have any of the projects anymore! He is in the process of looking for #4. Any ideas? In the meantime, check out this great 1956 Ford F-100 pickup, now gone. And if you want to see the terrific Teardrop Trailer Jim restored from the ground-up, then check out this link. It was a 1947 Teardrop Trailer. that he bought in August of 1998. If you want to follow progress, check out that page. Now that he's finished that, used it for several car shows, he's done that and it's in a new home! After he finished that restoration project the next one was a 1967 Airstream Globetrotter. It can be found on our page for our 1967 Airstream Globetrotter! This was our mode of transportation across America, but alas! that's gone, too! It now lives in Michigan ~ we live in Pennsylvania!

Linda's two passions are genealogy, and quilting!

We both share the joy offamily! One of our favorite pastimes is exploring our beautiful United States! Another interest we share is seeing new sights and meeting new people. We belong to a travel club, and thru it we meet and share experiences with other travelers in our age group. We stay in their homes, they stay in ours! We've had guests from as far away as Poland, Australia, Israel and British Columbia! It gives us a chance to have Bed and Breakfast experiences on a small scale! Several of our guests have requested a few of the recipes I've served, so I have added a recipe page. Interested in a recipe for Praline Topped French Toast Cassarole or a great Baked Oatmeal? Try these!
