Dispute

23rd May 1896 Submission to Arbitration. William Greer with Mary Ann Carson.

Nancy Carson of Teevenagh made and executed her will and testement on 2nd March 1887, in which she bequeathed land to Mary Ann all the portion of the said land which formerly belonged to James Greer late of Teevenagh consisting of four fields adjoining Wm Alexander Fergusons and also another potion known as the Barley Garden and further bequeathed to William Greer the portion that belonged to his father John Greer.

Nancy died 21st Jan 1889.

The District Register ofArmagh of Probate was on 26th September 1895.

Each were occupying the others land. Compensation for occupation of her lands and house since the death of Nancy Ann taking into account her occupation of his house, with the solicitors bill resulted in William Greer having to sell the property.
