Teachman data

Teachman Data

These are Teachman's found on various resources or census indexes. All federal census records except 1820, 1830, 1850 and 1860 are for New Jersey and New York only. The 1790, 1800, 1810 and 1820 federal censuses for New Jersey have been lost. Deborah Guida provided the indices and has been of great help in gathering information. In April 2002, Deborah and I visited genealogical and historical societies and courthouses in Goshen, Monroe, Newburgh, and Warwick, New York and Bergen, Lodi, Morristown and New Brunswick, New Jersey. New information we gleaned is included on this page. - Joan Shurtliff
