Gibson Bayou Cemetery

Locations of Unmarked Graves

Recorded April 27, 2002

---

On April 27, 2002 a Homecoming was held at Gibson Bayou Cemetery in an effort to raise funds for maintaining the church.  During the event, several individuals gave information on family members buried in the cemetery without markers.  Locations were also noted for those graves that only have funeral home markers, anticipating that these markers will one day be no longer visible.  The following is location information for these graves.  This information was recorded by Debbie Lunsford Yates and Pat Isabel Brown.

Additional information was later submitted by family members.

If anyone has information on unmarked grave locations, please contact me or Pat Brown, and we will add these to this page.

(Much of this information was given by Mr. Melvin Watson

who passed away on January 21, 2006.

He was buried at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.)
