It appearing to the satisfaction of
the court that Josephine, James L. and Elizabeth Jennings are minors and do
reside in the county and having no regular guardian and the court doth
therefore constitute and appoint Isaac
Smith as such guardian whereupon the said Isaac Smith came into open court
with William Lunsford and H. C.
Keller for his securities and entered into bond in the sum of six hundred
dollars conditioned and payable as the law directs, which said bond was
acknowledged in open court by all the parties and approved by the court and
ordered to be recorded, when the said Isaac
Smith was sworn in open court as such guardian according to law.
