1966 ![]() Funeral plans are pending for Jimmy Lunsford, 15, who was found dead Monday afternoon in a pasture on the Kiker-Warren
Funeral Home will announce funeral plans. The youth, whose parents live in Justice
of the Peace Roy Buchanan of Merkel, called into the case when it was
discovered that no local peace justices were available, has ordered an

Abilene Police Department, the Taylor County Sheriff's Office and the
Department of Public Safety were notified, Cain said. The
body was discovered in a brushy pasture a short distance from the school
