THE EVENING TIMES ~ LUNSFORD SERVICES WERE HELD HERE TUESDAY ~ Services for
Verser Rufus Lunsford of Earle, who died Sunday at Kennedy Hospital in
Memphis were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel with
the Rev. Johnson, pastor of Barton's Chapel near Earle, officiating. Burial was in Mr. Lunsford who was 62, was born at
Ripley, He leaves his wife, Mr. Gladys
Lunsford, two sons, Allison Lunsford and Herbert Lunsford, and four
grandchildren, all of Earle. Services for Verser R. Lunsford of [Clipping

Lunsford, who has farmed in the Three-Way neighborhood for a number of years
and was recognized as one of Earle's successful farmers died at Kennedy's
Hospital in Memphis, Sunday, August 1st. Mr. Lunsford
had been having recurrent illnesses and had been more or less incapacitated
before his death. He was 62 years of age, a veteran of
World War I, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Lunsford, and two sons,
Allison and Herbert Lunsford, all of Earle.
