224 Appointment of Commissioners to lay off years provisions for Mrs. Lunsford, Widow of H. H. Lunsford,
deceased It appearing to the satisfaction of the court that H. H. Lunsford, a citizen of
Lauderdale County has died intestate and left surviving him a widow and two
children, minors, and upon application of John G. Thompson, administrator of
said H. H. Lunsford, deceased, it is ordered by the court that J. H.
Thompson Jr., David Dennie, and W. W. Alford, three
freeholders of said county, who are unconnected with the parties, either by
affinity or consanguinity, be and they are hereby appointed commissioners to
lay off and set apart so much of the crop, stock, money on hand, or provision
of other assets, as may be sufficient for the support of the said widow and
minor orphans for the term of 12 months from the death of the said H. H. Lunsford, and that they report
the same to this court at its next term. Source: Court
