Moved to Cold Springs, Belchertown, in 1728, being one of the earliest settlers of that town and long kept a public house there. He was chosen deacon of the church at its first organization. He marr ied Eunice daughter of Rev. Josiah, of Woodstock, Connecticut. He married 2d widow Jeanna Holton, of Northfield He died Jun 12, 1780, according to another record 1788
