Moved with his parents about 1656, to Northampton, Ma., where he married Ruth widow of Joseph Baker and daughter of William Holton. By her marriage with Mr. Baker she had six children, the eldest of whom, Joseph, b. Jan 20 , 1665, was, with his father, killed by the Indians, Oct 29, 1675.
Deacon Thomas had according to Savage, six children, two of whom--- Elizabetn and Enoch-- are mention by him alone, and do not appear in the Durham records. He moved, in 1708/09, to Durham, Connecticut, which for three or four generatitons was the headquarters of this branch of the family; he was one of the early settlers; one of the first deacons;and a represenative of the town several sessions.
