OBITUARY:
Joseph E. Dietrich, 76, of Rte 3, rockford, died at 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 1980 in his residence. He was born on September 6, 1904, in Mercer County, the son of Delmer and Bertha (crider) Dietrich. Survivors include his widow, the former Hulda carr, who he married on December 18, 1929; a son, Norman Dietrich, of Rte 3, rockford; a daughter, Mrs. david (Jovetta) Barkley of Sevierville, Tennessee; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Opal ) Rhoades of Celina; six grand-
children and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Dietrich was a retired farmer and had operated the Dietrich Greenhouse. He was a member of the Otterbein United Brethren in Christ Church, Rockford. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, in Ketchan-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, with the Rev. mark Rutledge officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery.

Jovetta Marcile Barkley, 53, Rte 7, Sevierville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, December 9, 1986 at Royal Care Nursing Home, Pidgeon Forge, tennessee. She had been in ill health for several months. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Brethren Church, BoBo, Tennessee. Born in Mercer County, Ohio, on April 3, 1933, she was the daughter of Joseph and Hulda ( carr) Dietrich, and she was married November 3, 1957, in the Otterbein Church, Rockford, to David barkely,he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Loretta Barkley and Cathy Barkley, both of Rte 7, Sevierville: and one brother, Norman Dietrich, Rte 3, Rockford, Ohio. Services were held last Friday at Zwick-Boltz and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Ind., Rev Sylvester Martin officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Rockford, Ohio. Parents: Joseph E.
