Alta C. Deck, 71, of Churubusco, died Monday, September 15, 1986 at 11;37 p.m. in Whitley County Memorial Hospital. She had entered the hospital Monday after becoming ill at her daughters' house in South Whitley, where she had made her home since January of this year. Mrs. Deck was born on June 1, 1915 to Bert and Loudema (Shock) Ferguson. On November 2, 1931 she was married to Roy A. Deck, who preceded her in death August 16, 1976. Surviving are two sons, Raymond E. of New Haven and Roy Jr. of Fort Wayne; three daughters. Mrs. Jon (Shirley) Sallet of South Whitley, Mrs. Jerrold (Ferbia) West of Garrett and Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Renfro of Clute, Texas; 16 grandchildren and three great-grand-
children. Also surviving are two brothrs, Jessie Ferguson of Collins and Clifford Ferguson of Fremont, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Dolly) Beltz of Fort Wayne, Mrs. George (Velma) Lincoln of LaOtto, Mrs. Kernie (Chloe) Rowe of Teppecanoe, Indiana and Mrs. Garland (Marjorie) Bennett of Collins.
