from de Beaugency to de Heriez to Harris. From France through Scotland,
Ireland (seems this is time of Harris being used), England and Wales
where the name Harris seems to have settled into its final form.
It has been report ed that John Harris, John de Heriz, Ivo de Heriz
(before 1149), Robert de Her iez, Ivo Fitz de Heriz, Ancelin de Beaumont,
Herice de Beaugency, and then Lo ndric de Beaugency are in the chain back
from William Harris.
