Edna Mefford said Grace and first husband are buried together at Otterbein Church Cemetery outside of Rockford, Ohio. I have pictures of them at Stringtown Cemetery in Mercer Co. Ohio.
OBITUARY:
Mrs. Grace Alice Highley Shock, 86, Rte. 3, Celina, widow of Delbert Shock died at 3:30 a.m. April 28, 1964 in Smith Nursing Home, Rockford, where she had been a patient for more than 2 years. Born September 18, 1877, in Hocking County, her parents were the late John and Adelina Berry Highley. She was first married to Daniel Warthman and he passed away. Later she married Delbert Shock and he died in 1962. Two children, Clarence and Lucy Warthman, are also deceased. Mrs. Shock was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church at Stringtown (south of Rockford). Surviving are the following step-children: Mrs. Martha Grauque, Michigan; Howard Shock, Celina; Stanley Shock, Michigan; and Charles Shock, address unknown. There are four grandchildren, 9 great-grand-
children, and one brother, Roy Highley of Celina. Friends may call in Ketcham and Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, after 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. friday, in the funeral home and the Rev. Donald Bender will officiate. Burial will be made in Otterbein Church Cemetery.
