I set my self to answer your kind letter which I received two weeksago. I answered it o nce before but did not get to send it off. You mustexcuse me. I know you have been lookin g for an answer before now. Iwould have been glad if I could have sent it to you. I got you r letterlast (?) Saturday after you wrote it. I was glad to get a letter sofresh from you . I wish could get your letters in an hour after youwrite. I would feel like I knew how yo u was and whether you was well ornot when I read them but how ever I am very thankful to ge t letter fromyou as I do I have no news to write to you this letter (?) us all well.I hope i t will find you the same. Its been raining a good deal of rainhere lately grass is fine her e now. every thing is revived (?) up andgrowing like spring of the yeare. my mustard and on ions even at thedelay is growing fast now. I think I will soon have plenty of saladpeoples g arden have come out and are doing fine. them that died anyhardley (?). Mrs Wright sent u s a big mess of peas and ocra theotherday. we enjoyed it you know ma I think that we can ha ve as finegardens here as any place I ever saw if it would rain here I hope itwill be season able here next yeare I think I will give it atrial anyhowif nothing hapens. I know that thi ngs stand the drouth here better thanthere I don't see how things could stay green like the y did it was sodry but it aint hot here in summer like it is there. I sufered less withheat e last summer than for many past but I expect it will be very coldhere in winter. it is righ t cool here this morning I recon that Mr Boydwill get done hauling at Sweetwater next week b ut he has some (?) (?) outbeond Colerado City he wants to have this fall. I do not know whet her hewill haul there before we move or not. he may wate till Spring to haulthem. I am ver y anxious to get home. Martin has come home. he sold outhis stock in the rock hauling and i s preparing to build he is going tosettle on a section joining ours. I hope it won t be long till you can come.
