Mrs. Anna Swartzel, 23, wife of Raymond Swartzel, of Germantown died Sunday afternoon, April 5, 1936, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton after a short illness. Mrs. Swartzel had been ill at her home since march 15, and she was removed tothe hospital on march 24, where her condition continued critical. Born near camden, she moved to Germantown in 1920 with her parents and was graduated form Germantown High School with the class of 1932. She was a member of the methodist Episcopal Church. Surviving are the husband, two children, Vallie Delores, three years and harry Edward, seven months; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Harry Bender; three brothers, Ralph, charley and John Bender, and two sisters, Clara and Edna Bender. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the parents residence and at 2:15 p.m. at the Methodist episcopal Church. Burial will be made in Germantown Cemetery. She graduated from Germantown High School in 1950 and received her degree from the University of Dayton in 1954. On April 7, 1953 she married Harold Donnie Curry, who survives his wife.
