Mr. Pat Boyd

I will write you a few lines of love I will commence by telling you howpretty you are to m y notion you are the handsomest feller I ever saw &the sweetest As sure as the grape grows o n the vine I'll be yours if youwill be mine. I know that you do not love me though if I thou ght thatyou loved me I would feel just as happy as a big sunflower as she wavesand bends in t he breeze and my heart would be as light as the wind thatblows the leaves from off the trees.
I would surely be happy of you love me as I love you No knife couldn'tcut love intwo
as sure as the vine grows round the stump you are my darling sugar lump
Roses red violets blue sugar is sweet and so are you My pencil is badmy writing is worse Go d bless the one that reads this verse Roses maywither friends may die friends forsake you b ut never will I. Flowerslove sunshine earth loves dew Stars love heaven and I love you
