Hello. Somehow we are related I live in O klahoma. I was running some of the
family names on rootsweb and came across you r information. One of Baker Pidcocks
sons was my GGrandfather and I noticed tha t you didn't have him listed in Bakers
children believe me I know how hard some of this information is to come by. This
son was Lyle Pidcock he was born in Cr awford County Mo 1853 died May 28, 1932
Victoria County Texas he married Aisley Anna Johnson they had 6 children that
I know of. His oldest daughter was my Gr andma Pearl Pidcock Hird MCKINNEY I
have further information on the family if you are interested in including this

Greetings Bea,
We are in process....I have traced Letitia Pidcock,born about 1 810 Hopkins Co,Kentucky
who married Nimrod Shumate about 1827 in Illinois(no re cord verification found
of this yet). They move on to Crawford Co,MO where it s ays Nimrod died in 1843.
This is the same year that their last child Olivia, kn own as Olive,is born(I
am from her line). In the Crawford Co, MO marriages it s hows that Lutisha Shumate
married William C Martin on Oct.10,1847. Also,Laclede County plays a big part
in some of the info I have found, so when I discovered that Lutisha married Wm
Martin, I checked out the census and find a William C Martin listed in 1870 Laclede
Co,MO in the same township of Lebanon that I am s earching where Davis Miller
Wright is married to "Olive" Shoemate and is in the same census(1870).
The next thing I know the family is in Washington CO, AR. I do not know where
Wm C Martin died but I do know that Lutitia(Leutitia or Luti sha)died in Washington
Co, AR. and some of her children died here as well. I wi ll be out cemetery hunting
in the near future so will be looking for any famila r names. You said Martin
had 6 children? Who was their mother?Do you have names and dates of the children?
Leaving no stone left unturned we might find some i nfo under one of the children.
Some of the children of Nimrod/Lititia end up in Washington Co, AR.
