TESTIMONY of WITNESS: J W CORDILL: I live about 1 mile from William F BESS and have known hi m for about 6 years. I helped him survey his land. I have seen him 12 or more times at hi home, once just 10 days ago. His land is hilly with scrub timber of poor quality, land good for farming and is not fenced for any other purpose.Has been gone from his claim 2 or 3 yea rs ago he went to AR to pick cotton and was gone 3 or 4 months, I can't say exact. He has built a home, stable, kitchen, graind house, and cistern.
