Ida is possibly buried in Wright Cemetery, Van Wert Co. OH. There is a head-stone that says "Rumple, Ima d. 18 May 1875 2m . d/o W.T. & M. A."
I realize that her name was Ida and she lived only a couple of weeks during
February of 1879 (William and Mary Ann weren't even married in 1875. But this stone is right by Hannah's, so it's a possibility that it belongs.

I visited Wright Cemetery in July 1996 and the headstone says Ida, not Ima so whoever sent me the writings from the cemetery wrote it wrong. It is the right child and she died February 22, 1879, not May of 1875. The stone is next to Hannah's. She resided in Jennings Twp. so William and Mary Ann Shock must have lived in Jennings Twp. (Van Wert Co.) for a while before moving to Mercer Co. Charlotte Rumple told me that her father in law (william Burel Rumple) used to talk of going to Van Wert Co. as a young child. Parents: William T. RUMPLE and Mary Ann SHOCK.

On June 20th 1907 he was united in marriage to Fannie B. Hinkle. To this union were born three sons.
The greater part of his life was spent in or about Mercer County. Ten years were spent in Lima, and two years in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was converted at the Fairview U. B. Church, under the preaching of Rev. A. M. Johnson in the year 1921. Later he attended and joined the U. B. Church in Rockford.
Left to mourn his going are: his wife; three sons Waldo, Gerald, Maurice, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Brunstetter, Mrs. Charles Morrow, and Mrs. Charles Brunstetter; one brother, William B. Mr. Rumple was a good neighbor, a loyal friend and a devoted husand and father. He was a man who loved God and the things of God. He was loyal to his Church and enjoyed any endeavor to bring the lost to Christ. To those who knew him best he was known for his love to talk about and work in the things of Christ. Today we find sweet consolation in that he belonged to this wonderful Christ.
