There is a good chance that Rebecca Villars was born in the early years of 1800. In the 1810 census of Greene County, Jefferson Township there is a John Villars (note the 'A') family and a Joseph Vanbuskirk family. The daughter in the Villars family is under 10 years old in 1810 and the Vanbuskirks have 3 sons under 10 and 1 son that is 10 to 16.
On 2/24/94 I visited the WRHS and examined the book, 'Pennsylvania 1820 Census Index' by R.V. Jackson. The only Villers listed is John Villers living in Jefferson Township, Greene County on page 353.

6-23-94 visited library in New Philadelphia, Tusc. County, Ohio. The book, "Tuscarwas County Ohio Connections" printed 1982 by the Tusc. Genealogy Society. I was looking for Villars and on page 202 of Vol II. there is an unclear chart. It starts with a John Villars with spouse unknown. He produced a daughter Elizabeth who marrieds Robert Cree, Jr. They in turn had a daughter, Ann Cree. Ann was born Nov. 13, 1788 in Greene County, PA and died in 1859 - she is buried in Rush Cemetery, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.

At the National Genealogical Society in Washington, DC - 1994 there is a member chart of John Villars and Mary Dakens prepared June 5, 1972 by Julia Alison Gilchrist of Peroria, IL. This list Rebecca as the 8th child.

Pierre Vincent Sr. was just seven years old in the autumn of 1755, so he was no t among the 418 men and boys who were gathered at the church at Grand Pre in ol d Acadie that Sept. 5. The order from the British governors of Nova Scotia inst ructed that "both old and young men, as well as the lads of ten years of age .. . attend the church at Grand Pre, on Friday, the 5th instant, at three o'clock in the afternoon, that we may import to them what we are ordered to communicate to them..." But Pierre and his family were about to
begin the forced journey t hat would bring them from Nova Scotia to Louisiana, a journey that would not be completed until he was well into maturity.
Pierre, his father (Joseph Vince nt), his mother (Marguerite Bodard), and his sister (Maria) were placed aboarda ship to be sent to the British colony in Virginia. But the British authorities up East had not told the Virginians that the Acadians were coming. The Virgini ans refused to allow the exiles into the colony.
When smallpox began to run ra mpant through the ships detained in Williamsburg harbor, the Acadian fate wasse aled. The ships, their captive cargo lessened by hundreds killed in the epidemi c, finally sailed for England.
Joseph Vincent died there, in a prison in Sou thampton, before the British and French finally found an accord that would allo w repatriation of the Acadians to French soil. Pierre, his mother and his siste r were sent to France, but they found things little better there. Parents: .
