Mrs. Hope Boyd, 49, of 9997 S.W. Morrison, Portland, died in a PortlandHospital Saturday morn ing following a heart attack earlier in the day.
Services were held Tuesday, Dec 3, 1968 at 10:00 AM in the Fuiten/FriesenMortuary chapel in B eaverton, The Rev. Harold Little of the BeavertonNazarene Church officiated. Private interm ent was in the Crescent GroveCemetary, Tigard.
A native of Oregon, Hope Catherine Yost was born September 11, 1919 inPedee, a small communit y southwest of Salem. She was united in marriageto Dale F. Boyd in Portland on March 1, 1947 .
The Boyds moved into their present home on Morrison in Portland and havelived there for the l ast 20 years. Mrs Boyd was employed by the SunshineBiscuit Company for many years and has be en a member of the BeavertonNazarene Church. Surviving is the husband Dale Boyd; four childr en; Mrs.Wilmer (Phyllis) Knight; Raymond John, Peter Dale, and Kathy Jane Boyd,all of Portlan d.
Also surviving is her mother; Mrs. Inez Yost, Portland, two brothers;Delbert Yost, Gladstone ; and Warren Yost, of Portland; and one granddaughter; Melinda Kaye Knight also of Portland.
