His wife and next of kin was Edith Simons, 22 Canfield Gardens, Hampstead, London. He was discharged on 9 November 1918 from the Labour Corps Eastern Command Labour Centre (late London Regiment), with a 5s 6d pension to be reviewed in 13 weeks from 10 November 1918, because of Neurasthenia.⁶
