      Gerrard Herman Francis Miesegaes also went by the name of Jimmy.4 He was born in May 1932; and he was the 'son of Robert Miesegaes of Monte Carlo' and 'Mrs Krutoff of San Remo'. Robert may have been from the Netherlands and divorced Elizabeth Esther Sybil Mary Miesegaes in 1934.4,5,6,7,8,9,10

He and Beverley Ann Halford were engaged on 24 September 1958; and an announcement placed in The Times and they are described as 'Gerard Herman Francis (Jimmy) Miesegaes of Rossmoor Court, NW1, only son of Mr Robert Miesegaes, Monte Carlo and Mrs Elizabeth Krutoff, and Beverley Ann, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Cecil F Halford of The Mill House, Broughton, Hampshire.5' Gerrard Herman Francis Miesegaes married Beverley Ann Halford, daughter of Cecil Frederic Halford MA and Helen Goode Finch, on 27 June 1959 at Romsey Abbey, Romsey, Hampshire, England; and their marriage was registered at Romsey Registration district in the June quarter 1959.
